Bacchanalia's Apollo's Muse cocktail lounge alone holds up to 100 guests standing, inside a Mayfair restaurant built as Greco-Roman theatre.
Bacchanalia sits on Mount Street in Mayfair, built around the ancient story of Bacchus reimagined as a Greco-Roman feast. The room is designed as theatre: frescoes, statues and sculptures drawn from Greek mythology surround the main restaurant floor, with a DJ area and a mezzanine overlooking the action. Apollo's Muse, the in-house cocktail lounge, holds private events for up to 100 guests standing or 40 seated.
The menu runs Mediterranean, with grilled octopus, Greek sausage, rib-eye and strip loin steaks, and a tiramisu regulars single out. There is a two-course set menu, and Opera Sunday Lunch runs from midday to 4.30pm with complimentary dining for children.
