Hakkasan · London
Hakkasan Mayfair's dim sum menu runs to a crystal lobster dumpling topped with Oscietra caviar, in a room designed by Christian Liaigre.
Hakkasan Mayfair sits on Bruton Street across two floors, designed by Christian Liaigre in dark, dramatic tones with blue accent lighting. The kitchen has held a Michelin star in most years since 2012, and the menu runs from dim sum through set menus to a fully à la carte dinner service, alongside a signature Weekend Brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
The dim sum stands out: crystal lobster dumpling with Oscietra caviar, Wagyu beef Shanghai dumpling with a black vinegar glaze, and a whole Peking duck reviewers order to share. From Wednesday to Saturday, The Bar runs live DJs and cocktails from 7pm, for pre-dinner drinks or a later stop on their own. Dress code is smart, no sportswear or trainers.
