Interni has run in a secret garden in Matoyiannia since 2000, designed by Paola Navone for founder Nikos Varveris.
Interni opened in Matoyiannia, Mykonos Town in 2000, designed by Paola Navone inside a garden setting for founder Nikos Varveris. Twenty-five years on, his sons Alex and Philip run the restaurant. This anniversary year the staff uniforms were redesigned by Greek designer Angelos Bratis, and the menus, coasters and cards were created by London-based artist George Greaves.
The kitchen builds its menu around Mykonos farm produce and fresh Aegean fish, alongside cocktails made in-house with dry-aged fruit and artisanal syrups. Dinner runs from 7:30pm, and the room shifts from restaurant to party as the night goes on, a rhythm the venue has kept for 25 years.
